edgar
The air rushed past at incredible speeds as Edgar hurtled from the airplane. Adrenaline coursing through his veins and a broad smile on his face. Truly there is no other feeling like skydiving, nothing that could grant such a rush as free fall from thousands of feet in the air, but like all good things it must come to an end so he pulled his cord for the parachute, but nothing happened, so he pulled his backup one, still nothing. he succumbs to panic as the ground reaches up to meet him. oh wait never mind, there it goes. His parachute unfurls and he comes in for a landing on the surface of mars to get a coffe at the mars Starbucks. mars was a lot like earth now that its been teraformed, but with slightly less gravity. making for even better skydiving. after his coffe he went home and watched tv for a few hours before going to bed.
escape-dark
theres blood on the shiney brass doorknob, the last red spash of the short trail youve been following. the door, made of a dark wood, is slightlly ajar, so rather than use the doorknob you place you hand around the edge of the door and pull geantlly. the door swings inward smoothly, light spilling through the doorway into the dark room. its dificult to tell exactlly how large the room is, but you can tell its rather sizeable because of a dim blue glow a few yards away, obviouslly electronic in origion. after a moment your eyes begin to adjust and you can see that the glow is coming from a laptop placed on the floor and faceing away from you, illuminating the head and shoulders of a man whos face is slumped on the keyboard. he must be the source of the blood trail, you think as you quicklly, but cautiously make your way to his side. you carefully ask if he's ok, and his eyes open at the sound of your voice, reflecting the pale blue screen of the laptop in his dazed, exhausted eyes. he looks to be in his 30's, and wears a sensible business suit, details revealing themselves more as your eyes adjust to the darkness. he shifts, attempting to roll onto his side. you can see 2 large dark wet stains on his shirt, he's bleeding. you have little time to ask about his condition. time is of the essence and you must evacuate the building, so you simply ask, "can you walk?" he struggles to pull himself to a kneeling position, clutching the red stains on his chest. you think of making a turnikit, but decide against it. you can barely see in this light and would be better off trying to stop the bleeding in a better lit room. instead you sling his limp arm around your shoulder, and helping him out of the room. he staggers along, and you try to take more of his weight across your shoulders and pick up the pace, making your way to the doorway from which you entered, when you notice something on the wall that you had missed previously, a light switch. using your free hand you flip the switch, and turn your head to see what was in the room. your blood seems to turn to ice as you see the words "DoNt LoOk uP" written on the wall in blood. almost against your will, your eyes start to travel up the wall to the celling, when a hand wrenches you head down so all you can see is the floor. and in a pained, wheezing voice he says, "Don't. dont look. " you obey the injured man and help him out of the room. grateful that you didn't witness whatever horrors there were in that room as you evacuate the asylum with the injured stranger.

Cabana
the ocean rolled across the sparkling sand at a smooth pace. rising and falling as if it breathed and pulling the sand into intricate swirls like a child with a gallon tub of glitter he dumped over the kitchen floor. off in the distance strange shapes sail across the horizon line. whether animal or ship or a some strange mixture of the two its hard to say, but they seem to add a sense of foreboding across the green waves that stretch out into the distance. there's a small structure nearby, seemingly made from local vegetation, it faces the sea. upon closer investigation it's obvious that the structure is abandoned, and has been for some time. there are oddly circular holes in the roof of the structure, as if it had been hit by flaming bowling balls. its a sizable cabana, about the size of a three bedroom one story home. but you didn't have time to investigate, and so continued down the beach, taking in the landscape.

beetlejuice
aww what the hell, first thing that popped into my head so might as well. its a cartoon/movie that i've been studying, well better described as pondering. i love the kind of humor associated with this series, and the animation for the cartoon is top notch, which is kinda what i've been studying. im interested in animation, might even try studying it in collage, so i've been watching the cartoons carefully, trying to pick up the subtleties of expressions and movement that this show has in droves, often pausing the show to observe individual panels and see the "in betweens" of a movement, how they do the lighting, where they place the characters in the shot, what parts move or stay because sometimes it might only be an arm or mouth that moves or the eyes might blink, but the movement still seems fluid and natural. its really something to actually take a careful look at these old cartoons, but dont try it with most of the newer ones. most new cartoons are now animated digitally, making the characters much more static, i think that it might be because they can re-use old artwork much more easily when done digitally, keep things more carefully measured so theres not as much changes between the panels, as well as blend them together, and you lose alot of the movement blur that would have been there otherwise because of how sharp the images are. plus more modern cartoons just aren't as crazy as the older ones, especially beetlejuice. in the cartoon, he's a ghost, so he's also very good at shape shifting, which he does almost all the time, and leads to some pretty visually stunning moments.
annoying
man, too many things to count and it all sounds depressing. im just sick of all this, never goes anywhere, never go anywhere, never do anything, never talk about anything. im being bored to death and im sick of it. i mean even in psych class. we took a test to see our "arousal levels" or what it takes for you to be scared or happy, and i scored 12 out of 13. thats like a hard core thrill seeker, course i already knew that, but it helps to explain my issue. personally i think this is one of the reasons why im so annoyed at everyone all the time, they're just so boring and i dont really have anything worth saying, or at lest that people want to listen to. the bad part is that i say so little that even when i do speak im often ignored or misunderstood, because surprise surprise, 4 years of being bored to death at school has all but obliterated my social skills, not to mention a great deal of my physical ones as well. it dosent help that im also pretty much useless at everything else, so even if i wanted to do something, anything, i have to jump through hoops like nobodies business. i wanna go ice skating? well thats about 2 weeks of trying that only ends up with me getting sick of not being able to go and giving up. i think my memory has actually been altered to compensate for this. a few days and i dont even remember that something bad happened, and if it did, who cares. its like a nightmare that might have seen scary when you first wake up, but a while later its just as ridiculous as my normal dreams, which are pretty weird, and im almost ashamed to have been scared in the first place.

1st blog-whatever i want to write about.
for no particular reason, recently ive been thinking about the next Beetlejuice movie that they're supposedly making, though it probably wont come out for a few years. still its fun to think about the movie, how it could have gone differently, and what sort of antics he would get up to.
for those of you who dont know, Beetlejuice is an awesome movie made by tim burton about a couple who die and come back as ghosts and haunt their house, only to have a snobbish new family move in. they hire the poltergeist Beetlejuice to kick out the family after numerous failed attempts on the couples part to scare them off and everything goes nuts. its awesome.
not really much else to say, its pretty much just what im currently daydreaming.
